Audience development with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo

As part of the Next Generation You call funded by the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, BAM! and its Rete Dinamica partners worked alongside Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin on the creation of a development plan for its historical headquarters in Palazzo Re Rebaudengo and the Parco d’Arte in Guarene, amidst the Roero hills.

The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo has been committed to promoting contemporary art for over twenty-five years, with the objective of introducing it to an ever larger audience. With this opportunity, the Fondazione launched a course for its Marketing and Communication Office with a view to boosting its strategic and analysis skills, planning new actions to engage resident communities in the Langhe and Roero areas and identifying potential stakeholders among local businesses and organisations.

BAM! supervised the audience development mentoring phase by providing training on the main theoretical approaches to the issue and sharing best practices used in situations like that faced by the Palazzo Re Rebaudengo and the Parco d’Arte in Guarene.

We then supported the Fondazione Sandretto in running a survey on its headquarters in Guarene, designed to learn more about the habits and perceptions of its regular and potential visitors.

The survey results were subsequently presented and shared with the rest of the Fondazione in order to come up with ideas for activities to boost engagement.
